Our Story
Our Story
It all started in a Catholic school.
Matías was 7 years old when his teacher gave him a blank drawing to paint. It was the silhouette of the crucified Jesus. Matías took his brushes and filled them with color. Blue, green, yellow, red, purple. Colors that burst with joy. Colors that only a child with faith can see.
He brought it home. It was beautiful.
Time passed. One day his grandmother saw the picture and said something simple that changed everything:
“Son, get some t-shirts made with that picture Matías painted. It turned out very nice.”
At that moment, the idea emerged.
His father saw in that painting something greater than a school assignment. He saw a message. He saw a mission. And M.I.U was born, the brand named after two brothers, Matías Ignacio Urbina, and the art of a child who painted Jesus with pure joy.
Today, every garment carries that story. And 10% of each sale is sown where God indicates.
Faith. Adventure. Imagination.
